Construction / Progress of Work Update:

3. External GRC:
- GRC features for PRI was completed and that for PRII will be completed by 20/09.
4. Paint:
4.1 Internal Paint:
- Completed except final coat in all floors.
4.2 External Paint:
- Completed except the stone paint around retail area which is scheduled to complete by 20 Sep 10.
4.3 Floor Epoxy Paint:
- Basement – completed except final coat.
- GF – in progress.
5. Tiles:
5.1 Wet area (Kitchen & bathroom):
5.2 Vitrified floor tiles (Master and Bed Rooms):
5.3 floor tiles for balcony:
- Completed except few pieces here and there in all floors.
5.4 corridor wall and floor tiles:
- Completed except small portion at corner in all floors
6. Aluminium windows:
- Completed except some works in main entrance and retail outlets. Expect to be completed by 20/09/10.
7. Wooden Doors:
- Completed except 3 nos. Water meter doors in PRI. Some services doors in PRII are balance to be installed. Few doors are balance to be installed in the flats, too.
- Expect to get completed both the buildings by 25 Sep 2010.
8. Kitchen cabinets and Vanity counters:
- Completed in all floors for PRI and for PRII the installation of shutters in 3rd and 4th floors are in progress.
9. False Ceiling:
9.1 Flat:
- Completed in dry area and wet area the grids were installed for PRI.
- Completed in dry area. Installation of grids in wet area for all floors is in progress for PRII.
9.2 Corridors:
- Completed grid’s installation in all the floors.
9.3 Main Entrance:
- Completed grid’s installation.
10. MEP:
10.1 Drainage:
- Completed except FIC for final connection.
10.2 Water Line:
- Completed along with pressure tests.
10.3 Fire Fighting:
- Completed in all floors. Final fix i.e. installation of sprinkler head is in progress.
10.4 HVAC (duct with insulation & installation of machine / unit):
- Duct’s installation in all floors completed. AC machines / units (indoor & outdoor) were installed. Related piping work was completed. Installation of valve is in progress.
10.5 Electrical:
10.5.1 Power:
- Completed together with the installation of wiring accessories (switches, sockets etc.
10.5.2 Lighting:
- Conduiting and wiring including DB dressing etc. were completed in all the floors. Installation of light fittings is in progress.
10.6 Structured cabling (telephone):
- Works in MDF room is in progress and expect to be completed by 20 Sep 10. Remaining works in all the floors were completed.
10.7 Low current (CCTV, Gate barrier, security etc.):
- Final fix of CCTV and installation of gate barrier’s arm are balance.
11. Utilities status:
11.1 Power and water:
- DEWA laid the cables from outside sub-station to RMU in PRI and in PRII it is balance. Cables from RMU to Transformer and to LV panels for both the buildings were laid and terminated.
- Expect the power supply by 1st week of October 2010.
- Final connection of water supply to the main pipe is balance. Amount against the fees estimate was paid to DEWA. DEWA has no issue for PRI but for PRII requested to submit an undertaking letter from Nakheel to RTA. Nakheel will issue the undertaking letter in a week.
11.2 Drainage / Sewerage:
- Submitted the application for the estimate for the final connection to Nakheel and expect to obtain by next week.
11.3 Telephone:
- Request for inspection to DU will be submitted on 22 Sep 10 as works are expected to finish by 20 Sep 10.
- On acceptance of DU, they will install their panels and carry out the testing and commissioning for providing the telephone services.
12. GREEN BUILDING FACILITY:
- Our consultant MECSD is targeting 34 and above points in order to get silver certification from USGBC (LEED).
- Letters as required from Prescott and Consultant were submitted to MECSD. Contractor also submitting all required documents such as recycle content, SRI value etc.
- USGBC (LEED) will evaluate all the credit points uploaded on their website by the consultant and will advise accordingly. Their reps will be visiting the site to ensure the works done as per their codes and practice.
- Prime Residency will be the only building in International City which will have USGBC (LEED) certification for green building.
- Green building facility will help the building to be environment friendly and energy efficient.
